Toshiba introduces two 64-bit RISC processors on TX99/H4 core Toshiba introduced two 64-bit RISC processors, 667 MHz TX9956CXBG-666 and 533 MHz TX9956CXBG-533, to go on shipping late in July. These 90nm solutions are based on TX99/H4.
![]() Models are designed for laser printers TV consoles and other consumer electronics. From previous solutions, these differ by 32KB L1 and 256KB L2. The next step is the release of a 65nm 1GHz processor in 2006. TX9956CXBG series has 133MHz FSB, 1.25V voltage. Novelties are packed into 272-pin BGA bodies sized 27x27x1.27mm.
