ELSA announces GLADIAC 940 128MB on GeForce 6800 GPU ELSA announced its new GLADIAC 940 128MB card on NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GPU. The product will go on sale in mid-June for about $425.
![]() The model features 325MHz core clock, 128MB DDR SDRAM, 700MHz memory clock, 256-bit bus. The model is almost identical to other existing in the market: 400MHz RAMDAC, 15-pin D-Sub, DVI-I, S-Video. Sized 215x107mm. The bundle includes DVI-VGA adapter, S-Video-composite cable, drivers.

On the threshold of Computex 2004: VIA EPIA SP motherboard At Computex 2004 VIA Technologies plans to introduce VIA EPIA SP Mini-ITX board on VIA CN400 Digital Media chipset that supports hardware MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 processing and features VIA PadLock Hardware Security Suite (implemented into 1.3GHz VIA C3 processor). VIA PadLock Advanced Encryption Engine (ACE) supports AES encryption/decryption with 128-bit, 196-bit or 256-bit keys at 12.8Gbps rate at minimal CPU load. The engine features two VIA PadLock Random Number Generators (RNG) allowing for background operation not affecting tasks running. If you remember, a similar engine (with one RNG though) was implemented into VIA EPIA MII12000. Other motherboard specs are:
Sony unveils HMP-A1 with 20GB HDD Sony joined Apple and Creative unveiling
its own 20GB HDD based player, HMP-A1, that is actually closer to "digital
photo albums". The novelty will go on sale on June 26 for the yet undisclosed
price. Considering popularity of such devices, we guess the model will go
outside Japan in the future.
