S/U/M/A/ announces PLATINUM GeForce FX 5500 128MB
Korean S/U/M/A/ announced a new card on NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 GPU, PLATINUM GeForce FX 5500 128MB, that is alike all other products on this processor.

The card has 128MB DDR SDRAM in 4ns TSOP chips, 128-bit memory bus (500MHz clock rate), DVI, D-Sub, TV-Out.

Our Chinese colleagues from GZeasy found out something that might be a flowchart of Xbox 2 scheduled for announcement to early June.

We´ll just mention that the console will feature 64-bit IBM (Power) with at least three cores, ATI graphics core manufactured by TSMC and I/O controller from SiS. The most touching is "Hard Disk ("built-in" not decided)" line and suggested 20-80GB capacity. I wonder if rumours about flash memory to be instead of HDD are true, then where is it?
Gigabyte announces 3D Cooler-ULTRA Super Silent
Gigabyte announced the next 3D Cooler Pro model, 3D Cooler-ULTRA Super Silent (PCU31-SD), designed for 3.4GHz Intel Pentium 4 478, AMD Athlon XP 3400+, AMD Athlon 64 3400+.
The bundle includes GH-PCU31-SD itself, thermal grease, 4 x Pentium 4 socket latches, and also latches for AMD Athlon XP, Athlon 64.

As you can see rotation speed reduced from 2000-4500, while noise decreased from the previous 40-45dBA. The heatsink and its base is also made of copper. Besides, modders should know that PCU31-SD is also a glowing model.

Continuing the tradition of convergency, Iomega launched sales of its Floppy Plus 7-in-1 Card Reader.

2.5-cm high, this USB model weighs 340g. According to the name, it supports CompactFlash (type I/II), SmartMedia (SM), Microdrive, Multimedia Card (MMC), Secure Digital (SD), Sony Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, and floppy diskettes. The bundle includes Adobe Photoshop Album SE. Model MSRP is about $60.
