iomega ships CD-RW/DVD-ROM with card reader

iomega announced shipments of its CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive combined with 7-in-1 card reader and an external USB 2.0 CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive. Both devices support 52x24x52x CD speeds and 16x DVD-ROM read.

The novelties feature 2MB buffer, 48x DAE for high-speed music CD ripping. The bundles include Automatic Backup, Sonic CinePlayer, MusicMatch Jukebox, Adobe Photoshop Album. The software unambiguously indicates that the devices are designed for digital photo camera owners. The MSRP of both models is about $130.
