The package includes:
 VIA showcases new K8T800 chipset at LinuxWorld Expo At LinuxWorld Expo VIA Technologies, Inc. showcased its long-anticipated VIA K8T800 chipset in a dual-Opteron system. Besides dual CPUs, it supports AGP8X and is designed for servers and workstations. The demo platform was based on MSI MS-9130 server board.  Brief chipset specs:
Sharp extends Mebius series with PC-SV1-7D/5CB notebooks Sharp introduced new Mebius notebooks, PC-SV1-7DB and PC-SV1-5CB. The former will arrive for sale on August 28, the latter – on August 22 with MSRP of $1860 and $1600, respectively. PC-SV1-7DB will feature Athlon XP-M 2000+ CPU (1667MHz), 60Gb HDD. PC-SV1-5CB will have Athlon XP-M 1800+ (1533MHz), 40Gb HDD, CD-R/RW / DVD-ROM drive. Other features are identical: 15" display, 256Mb RAM (PC2100, up to 768Mb), TV tuner (VHF (1-12ch), UHF (13-62ch), CATV (C13-C63ch)). Each model will have PC Card Type II, SD and Memory Stick slots, 4 x USB2.0 ports, 1 x IEEE1394 ports, S-Video connectors. New exhibits for our Hardware Museum: Intel Express3D 4Mb SGRAM We obtained another unique card for our Hardware Museum: Intel´s i740-based Express3D with 4Mb of SGRAM 10ns memory and actually the world-first serial graphics fan cooler.     ATI announces ALL-IN-WONDER 9600 PRO ATI Technologies Inc. announced new ALL-IN-WONDER 9600 PRO on ATI RADEON 9600 PRO DirectX9 GPU. The card is supplied with a REMOTE WONDER II control (mouse controls, 6 programmable buttons, 4 additional buttons, complete MULTIMEDIA CENTER integration). Another nice feat is the FM and TV tuners (125 channels). As usual the card has two monitor connectors. The software bundle includes MULTIMEDIA CENTER 8.6 supporting DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, CD-R, CD-RW recording (it also includes EAZYLOOK home theatre software), THEATER 200 for video/audio playback, Pinnacle Studio 8 (ATI Version). ST55: the second Siemens handset with a built-in camera Siemens introduced another camera-equipped handset, ST55. The camera features 0.3 million pixels (VGA) that exceeds MC60 twice. LCD display resolution is 120x160 pixels at 16 bits (vs. 12 bits of MC60). The only thing ST55 lacks comparing to similar handsets of Nokia and Sony Ericsson is memory – only 1.2Mb. As for other features, they include 40-tone polyphony, GPRS Class 10, WAP 2.0 browser.  Sized 99x47x22mm, it weighs 87g. According to the company, the phone provides up to 140 hours of standby or 4.5 hours of talking (750mAh Li-Ion battery). European sales will start in August.
The Russian version of MSI 865PE Neo2-S mobo in our lab We are currently testing the mobo from Micro-Star International (MSI), 865PE Neo2-S, "adapted" for shipments to Russia. This is a basic model without LAN, IEEE1394 and RAID. Besides, the Russian manual and the box logo the it doesn´t differ from "foreign" boards. The package includes software CD, manual, back panel stub, Serial ATA cables, dual USB header, power adapter cable, round HDD/FDD cables, Northbridge fan.
