AOpen releases new Aeolus FX5600S graphics card series Today AOpen released its new Aeolus FX5600S graphics card series.Aeolus FX5600S on GeForce FX5600 will be made with 128Mb and 256Mb of Samsung´s 128-bit 3.6ns DDR. Cards feature D-Sub, DVI and TV-out connectors and support Dr. LED (hardware monitoring with LED output), AGMS (Advanced GPU & Memory System) for adjusting GPU/memory clock and voltage, software monitoring, and ACS for managing cooling system settings.
I/OMagic introduces DataStation floppy/flash reader I/OMagic introduced an external USB1.1 floppy drive with integrated "7-â-1" DataStation flash card reader.Powering via USB, the device supports 720Kb, 1.2 and 1.44 Mb floppy diskettes along with Compact Flash (CF), IBM Micro Drive, PCMCIA-ATA, Multimedia (MMC), Secure Digital (SD), Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick PRO, Smart Media (SM). ABIT officially unleashes the top-end IC7-MAX3 motherboard Today ABIT officially unleashed its new IC7-MAX3 motherboard that became company´s top-end product.ABIT IC7-MAX3 main specs:
The new board features all ABIT´s latest technologies, including OTES, SecureIDE, FanEQ, CPU ThermalGuard, TweakGuard, FlashMenu, SoftMenu, GigaSystem Overclock.
The SecureIDE feature is worth closer attention. It is a special hardware encoder (on eNOVA X-Wall chipset) which protects IDE hard drives with passwords, blocking access if it´s incorrect. Moreover, the drive will be inaccessible even if installed into another system. Another worthy novelty is the 4-phase power system with high-quality RubyCon capacitors, providing stability even at serious overclocking. By the way, the OTES cooling is used exactly for capacitors and other circuitry of ABIT IC7-MAX3. Combined with a dedicated monitoring chip, FanEQ enables automatic fan rotation speed depending on system load. ABIT GAME Accelerator Technology is an advanced SoftMenu feature, enabling CPU adjustments via BIOS. The newer technology adds the ability to fine tune memory subsystem. The user can choose from four modes: Auto, Turbo, Street Racer, and F1. each of these can be adjusted manually according to the system specs. According to the press release, just Game Accelerator alone provides up to 17% performance boost.

NVIDIA NV38: what should we expect Just little bits of information leaked from NVIDIA´s kitchen regarding the company´s answer to future ATI R360. We don´t know for sure what NVIDIA is preparing, but "they say" it would be something like an overclocked GF FX 5900U with something like 500MHz GPU and memory overclocked to 550MHz (about 1000MHz DDR nominal). And a bit of rumours about the name... How d´you like GeForce FX 6000 Ultra? Or, say, 6900 Ultra? In a word, be tuned, something should arrive soon... Source: NV News
