AOpen AX4SG Max Springdale motherboard review @ DarkVision Hardware "With the launch of the new 800MHz FSB Pentium 4 CPU´s Intel also announced two new chipsets, the Canterwood for high performance systems, and the Springdale chipset which is a little bit cheaper. The only big difference between both is that the Canterwood chipset supports ECC (Error Correcting) Memory and officialy supports Intels PAT (Performance Acceleration Technology). But more about that later because some motherboard makers have enabled the PAT on their Springdale motherboards. Probally the Canterwoods have passed some sort of quality test, I guess that is the real difference between these two chipsets. Nikon and Tokyo Electron join efforts for immersion litho development In the context of its litho tools roadmap, Nikon signed the agreement with another Japanese company, Tokyo Electron (TEL), for immersion lithography joint development.According to the document, companies plan to join efforts in the immersion litho development to prolong the life time of 193nm systems. Besides, the agreement implies Nikon and TEL joint cooperation with new-type photoresist suppliers. The near-term plans include qualification of developed elements by 2003 and transition to the volume production as soon as the new technology is ready.
Infinity Alpha series home audio speaker review @ Designtechnica "The Alpha series from Infinity represents the middle of their product line and provides a nice compromise between price and functionality. The models provided for review include the Alpha 40 mid tower loudspeakers, Alpha 25es for the surround sound speakers, the Alpha 37c center channel and, Alpha 1200s powered subwoofer. The front speakers are about $800 each, the center abut $400, the surrounds about $350 each and the subwoofer about $800. So the reviewed setup would cost about $3500 at most retail stores. These speakers are not really intended for the smaller room but if you have the space and the budget to go with individual pieces rather than an all together set this should be at the top of your list."Read more at Designtechnica.

Having 16Mb of integrated memory, it supports 16-256 Mb SD cards. The model features 1.31mp CMOS sensor providing 1280x1024, 640x480 resolutions, optical VF; auto white balance. Focal distance is 7.07mm (46mm in 35mm equiv.; F=3.0); shooting range – 1m to inf. or 25cm (macro). Exposure range is 1/15-1/4000s.  The camera supports USB2.0 (miniUSB Type B).
