G.Skill Announces Phoenix EVO SATA II SSD Based on 2xnm NAND Flash
G.Skill International today announced its new Phoenix EVO SSD based on the SandForce SF-1222 controller and 2xnm NAND flash chips. The 115GB Phoenix EVO drive offers the rated read/write speed of 280/270 MB/s and will be available in early April.
Although the 2xnm-based Phoenix EVO is a bit slower than G.Skill's current 3xnm-based Phoenix Pro, it should also be cheaper. G.Skill Phoenix EVO SSD comes with a 3-year warranty.
