Lexar Rolls Out Flash Drive With Capacity Meter
Lexar announced the introduction of JumpDrive Secure II Plus USB flash drive. It offers the same security software as original JumpDrive Secure II, including 256-bit AES encryption, but now includes an innovative, built-in capacity meter. Consumers will be able to purchase the 512MB version for around $20.
Like all Lexar JumpDrive USB flash drives, JumpDrive Secure Plus II provides full compatibility with Microsoft Windows Vista.
The onboard capacity meter of JumpDrive Secure II Plus solves a common problem faced by many USB flash drive users, namely, how to gauge the available storage space on their drive. The ultra-thin, shatter-proof display accurately shows available storage space at a glance, without even plugging it into a computer.
Lexar JumpDrive Secure II Plus is available in stores now in 512 MB, 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB capacities. An 8GB version will soon be available.
