BenQ Unveils Displays For Gamers

BenQ introduced a new display for gamers - the BenQ FP241VW LCD monitor, featuring a sleek exterior design, BenQ’s exclusive Senseye+game technology, HDMI interface and the 12ms MPRT (Motion Picture Response Time).

BenQ's exclusive Senseye+game technology is called to automatically and dynamically improve image quality in computer games. Furthermore, the FP241VW comes with 6 specialized display modes including standard, dynamic, movie mode, photo mode, action game mode and racing game mode.

The FP241VW fully supports video resolution of 1080p and features HDMI interface (High-Definition Multi-media Interface) which allows easy connection to HD enabled equipment such as HD DVD players, and game consoles. The FP241VW also supports various inputs including DVI-D and D-sub.

The FP241VW incorporates BenQ's exclusive PerfectMotion dynamic video processing technology that is eliminates ghosting and motion blurs. The PerfectMotion technology works by a two-step process with first reducing the grey-to-grey response time by accelerating the rotational speed of liquid crystal and second inserting black frames between frames from the video source.

The FP241VW is currently available Taiwan, China, US and Japan markets.

The second novelty, another gaming monitor, the 19-inch FP94VW, also features BenQ's proprietary Senseye+game technology, gamer-centric features and design, and an HDMI interface. The FP94VW is also pre-set with 6 specialized display modes: standard, movie, dynamic, photo, action game and racing game.

The BenQ FP94VW features a muted black chassis and an ultra-sleek textured aluminum panel housing embedded controls. The FP94VW also features a user-friendly swappable hook which attaches to the back corner of the monitor and allows users to conveniently hang a headset, webcam or VoIP phone.

The monitor supports video resolutions to 720p (HD ready) and also features various inputs including DVI-D and D-sub.

The FP94VW will be available starting in early February 2007.
