Transcend Releases Very Low Profile DDR2-533 Unbuffered Modules, 1.8" IDE Flash Disks

Transcend Information announced its very low profile (0.72-inch high) DDR2-533 Unbuffered DIMM memory modules (P/N: TS64/128MLQ64V5VL). Each module consists of 64Mx8 own-brand DDR2 FBGA chips. The six-layer PCBs used for 512MB/1GB modules are designed to meet the highest specifications by minimizing noise signal disturbance and enhancing overall performance. The new memory chips use FBGA chip packages for their improved electrical and heat dissipation characteristics.

Transcend also introduced high-capacity 1.8" IDE Flash Disks designed for use with specialist equipment in industrial environments. The 1.8" IDE Flash Disks feature 44-pin interface, tough outer metal case, reliability, low power consumption and anti-shock features. These are available with 2GB, 4GB and 8GB memory capacities. Transcend's 1.8" IDE Flash Disks are compact in size and measure only 60mm x 69.85mm x 7.0mm. In addition, these novelties have built-in ECC (Error Code Correcting) functionality and the Auto Sleep and Power-Down modes for higher energy efficiency.
