Samsung unveils compact SGH-X640 with integrated camera
Samsung officially unveiled the new SGH-X640 cell phone positioned as a compact entry-level clamshell with a built-in digital camera.
Naturally for an entry-level mobile, the camera has resolution of 640x480 (VGA). It supports the night mode and, somewhat unexpectedly, the serial shooting feature.
Besides, SGH-X640 supports a kind of background noise reduction, has a speaker and a voice recorder (up to 2 hours). The device works in 900/1800/1900 MHz GSM bands, supports Java, MMS and polyphonic ringtones, features 10MB integrated memory, 128x160 @ 65K color display.
The MSRP is $240.
