Zaurus announces SL-6000 PDA series for corporate users
Sharp announced Zaurus SL-6000 PDA series for corporate users, including SL-6000N, SL-6000L, and SL-6000W, which shipments should start on December 10, and 24, 2003 and January 23, 2004, respectively.
As usual for SL series, new PDAs work under Linux, have SL-B500-like keyboards, and feature 480x640 displays. All models support WLAN (IEEE802.11b) and Bluetooth, IrDA; feature USB controllers and CF, SD slots.
Installed applications include browser, email client, organizer, HancomMobileWord, HancomMobileSheet, sound recorder, image viewer, J2ME CDC, etc.
PDAs are based on 400MHz XScale PXA255 processors, and have 64MB flash memory (25MB free for use), 64MB RAM. Sized 79.8x158x20.4mm, models weigh 255 to 264 g.
