Intel tested 512Mbit DDR2 SDRAM Hynix for Lindenhurst compatibility
Hynix informed that Intel certified its 512Mbit DDR2 chips. The company tested these memory solutions with its Lindenhurst chipset and officially confirmed their compatibility.
Hynix 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM chips are made using 0.11µm process and require 1.8V voltage. According to Hynix, their volume production is scheduled to early 2004. memory modules on 512Mbit DDR2 chips are designed for servers, workstations, and desktops.
Hynix believes in 2004 the demand for such memory will grow, when Intel´s DDR2 chipsets will be spreading.
