6-channel Serial ATA RAID controller from LSI Logic

LSI Logic announced the shipments of 6-channel Serial ATA (SATA) RAID adapter samples for its MegaRAID SATA series.


New 6-channel MegaRAID SATA 150-6 supports 64-bit 66 MHz PCI bus, RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and 50.

MegaRAID SATA 150-6 specifications:

  • 6 SATA 150 channels
  • 64 MB of integrated 100 MHz ECC SDRAM
  • Intel 80302 processor
  • 64-bit 66 MHz PCI 2.2 bus
  • Half Size form-factor
  • Hot Swap support
