Cybernet?s DeskBook, i.e. DeskNote
As I remember, the term DeskNote had appeared when the first notebooks with desktop processors were released. But notebooks makers are not going to stop, so now we have another term DeskBook. This portable PC is released by Cybernet.
DeskBook features a usual, desktop 1.4 GHz to 2.4 GHz Intel Pentium 4 (the cooling system is promised to suffice even for 2.5 GHz CPU), has 15" TFT LCD screen, 10-40 GB hard disk, 128-256 MB DDR SDRAM, CD-RW/DVD combo, 4 USB ports, IEEE 1394 port, S-video jack and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet.
By DeskNote traditions, DeskBook doesn´t have a built-in battery, but can be powered by a portable accumulator or a power supply unit. Again, by DeskNote traditions, DeskBook has the attractive price of up to $1000. So, why complicate the title?
