PowerLeap PL-P4/N: Socket 423 —> Socket 478 ò4 adapter
From August 11 PowerLeap begins shipments of its new PL-P4/N adapter for using older Socket 423 motherboards with newer Socket 478 processors.
The adapter supports Pentium 4 with Northwood and Willamette cores, and new Socket-478 Celeron. It features a cooling system with aluminium fan, nickel-plated copper base, and is supplied with Arctic Alumina thermal interface. Package expected price is $49.95.
