Sharp Systems of America announces two new LCD monitors
Sharp Systems of America, a division of Sharp Electronics, announced two new LCD monitors: 17" LL-T17D3 and 18.1" LL-T18A1. We’ve actually mentioned both of them at the moment they debuted in Japan in August and December last year, so posting most of it again.

17" LL-T17D3 feature 1280x1024 (SXGA) LCD panels, 250cd/m² brightness, 500:1 contrast, 0.264mm dot pitch, 135° vertical and 160° horizontal viewing angle, 17ms response time. Monitors also feature analog and DVI sockets, mode selectors (standard, vivid, sRGB), stereo speakers (2x1W) and multilanguage OSDs. Measured 398x188x376 mm, they weigh about 6.5kg and consume 47W (3W in standby). MSRP is $499.

Ultrathin LL-T18A1 supports 1280x1024 resolution, features 160° viewing angle, 350:1 contrast, 250cd/m² brightness, <15ms response time. Supporting portrait mode and automatic color/brightness correction, the monitor has two DVI-D and one D-Sub input. The dimensions are 422x217x420 mm, weight – 5.4 kg (display itself) and 7kg total, MSRP $699.
