Albatron Gigi GeForce FX 5600 graphics card series being tested in our lab
We are currently testing Albatron graphics cards on GeForce FX 5600/5600 Ultra.
The FX5600U/FX5600 series includes FX5600U, FX5600EQ, FX5600P Turbo and FX5600P, of which we got FX5600U, FX5600P Turbo and FX5600EQ for testing.
FX5600U bases on GeForce FX 5600 Ultra GPU, has 128Mb of 128-bit DDR memory and 350/350MHz GPU/memory clocks. A top model.
FX5600P Turbo on GeForce FX 5600 has 128Mb of 128-bit DDR and 325MHz GPU clock.
The lower-end Gigi GeForce FX 5600EQ on GeForce FX 5600, hasn’t impressed our video section editor, Andrew Vorobyev. First, it’s printed on PCB of 5200 series. Second, it has 256Mb of 5ns memory, which makes GPU/memory clock rates just 325/200(400) MHz instead of the standard 325/275(550) MHz! Well, to be objective, let’s wait for the test results.
