A2 and L5: new notebook series from ASUS
ASUSTeK Computer announced two new notebook series, ASUS A2 and ASUS L5.
ASUS A2 currently includes two models, A2H and A2L, differing by the CPU type: the first has up to 2.8GHz Intel Pentium 4, second – up to 2.2GHz Intel Pentium 4-M. Both models feature up to 80Gb HDD, 5 x USB2.0 ports, IEEE1394 port, 3-in-1 (MMC/SD/MS) card reader, DVD-RW drive, WLAN adapter. Besides, A2 series features two auto-switched antennas for optimal wireless communication, speakers, two 4.8 CFM fans.
ASUS L5 series includes L5C model featuring up to 2.8GHz Intel Pentium 4 with Hyper-Threading, 15" LCD supporting ASUS ACE View (IPS, In-Plane Switching) and up to 170° viewing angle, ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000 graphics, up to 80Gb HDD (4200rpm; or 5400rpm Hitachi Moraga), DVD-RW combo, Gigabit Ethernet controller, 5 x USB2.0 ports, IEEE1394 port, SD/MS/MMC card reader, WLAN and Bluetooth adapters.
