The GeForce GTX 580 AMP is a reference card ordered from NVIDIA. It is factory overclocked so that the "AMP" suffix can be added. The remaining two graphics cards are made by Zotac (at PC Partner factories), although their PCBs are very much like the reference one.

The GeForce GTX 560 Ti AMP and GeForce GTX 460 SE have two 6-pin supplementary power connectors each. The GeForce GTX 580 has one 8 and one 6-pin power connectors.

Maximum resolutions and frequencies:

  • 240 Hz maximum refresh rate
  • 2560 x 1600 @ 60Hz max. digital (DVI) resolution
  • 2048 x 1536 @ 85Hz max. analog (VGA) resolution
