The GTX 550 Ti card is smaller than standard which is a sort of tradition for Palit's mid-end solutions. The power supply unit has also been remade, and the supplementary power socket has been moved to the top which is much more convenient. Speaking of outputs, Palit traditionally added VGA for users with inexpensive monitors.

Changes in the GTX 560 Ti card are similar.

Maximum resolutions and frequencies:

• 240 Hz maximum refresh rate
• 2560 x 1600 @ 60Hz max. digital (DVI) resolution
• 2048 x 1536 @ 85Hz max. analog (VGA) resolution

Both cards have supplementary power sockets: two 6-pin on GTX 560 Ti and one 6-pin on GTX 550 Ti.
