Cooling

All three cards are equipped with reference coolers. The one on the 5870 card we have already examined. The GTX 260/275 cards also have identical cooling systems.

We monitored temperatures using RivaTuner.

Gigabyte GV-R587D5-1GD (RADEON HD 5870) 1024MB (CrossFire mode)

Gigabyte GV-N26SO (GeForce GTX 260 SuperOverclock) 896MB

Gigabyte GV-N275SO (GeForce GTX 275 SuperOverclock) 1792MB

As we can see, all cooling systems demonstrate sufficiently high efficiency, remaining practically noiseless (even though the GTX 260/275 cards operate at increased frequencies).
