We shall not examine the cooler on the GTX 275, because it's a reference product, and we have already examined it here.

This card is equipped with the well-known cooler from Zalman and Gigabyte makes no secret of it. It has heatpipes to dissipate heat from the core to multiple grids of the massive heatsink that has a large fan in the center. This device only cools the core. This is a dual-slot cooling system, quite a usual solution for such cards.

We monitored temperatures using RivaTuner.

The Zalman cooler brilliantly copes with the task despite the increased operating frequencies.

The modified PCB of the Gigabyte's GTX 275 is really effective, operating temperature drops almost by 8°C comparing to a regular GTX 275 card.
