Coolers
Manli GTX560 1GB DDR5
The cooler has an aluminium heatsink and a fan. The cover is just a decoration. Power circuitry is cooled down by smaller heatsinks, memory chips are not cooled. Fan speed is not very high, but there is some noise nevertheless.
Palit GeForce GTX 560 Sonic Platinum
This cooler has a large heatsink with a copper base, heatpipes and a fan. Memory chips are not cooled. Fan speed is low and the device is nearly silent.
Temperature monitoring results
We measured temperatures using the MSI Afterburner utility.
Manli GTX560 1GB DDR5
Palit GeForce GTX 560 Sonic Platinum
After six hours of operation under load Palit's card was cooler than Manli's, even despite being factory-overclocked. That custom cooler on Palit's card is very efficient.
