Manli GTX560 1GB DDR5, Palit GeForce GTX 560 Sonic Platinum Graphics Cards
|
While GeForce GTX 560 Ti may be a bit too expensive for its performance, its junior counterpart GeForce GTX 560 is priced much better while being based on the same GPU with some stream processors disabled. Such cards are especially good when they are factory-overclocked and have custom coolers. Today we shall review just a couple of these, made by Palit and Manli. Both companies started as "noname" brands, but Palit advertised so actively that it became one the most selling brands and the quality of their cards really improved. Manli also made a name for themselves but the brand isn't as recognizable, because marketing is more moderate. Their cards are quite good nevertheless.

The customized Palit GeForce GTX 560 Sonic Platinum stands out (and it does resemble Gainward's counterpart). The card is smaller, has an improved power supply and different output interfaces, including VGA and HDMI instead of Mini HDMI.
Manli GTX560 1GB DDR5 is a copy of the reference design with minimal changes.
Maximum resolutions and frequencies:
- 240 Hz maximum refresh rate
- 2560 x 1600 @ 60Hz max. digital (DVI) resolution
- 2048 x 1536 @ 85Hz max. analog (VGA) resolution
Each card has two 6-pin supplementary power sockets.
