Speaking of Palit GeForce GTX 570 Sonic Platinum 1280MB GDDR5, the only thing that reminds of the reference design is the layout of memory chips. The rest has been overhauled: from output connectors to the improved power supply unit for higher clock rates. Besides, the card has one 6-pin and one 8-pin supplementary power connectors, like GeForce GTX 580.
Palit GeForce GTX 580 3072MB GDDR5 has also been customized in a similar way, so the card has non-standard output connectors and a better power supply unit for higher-frequency memory chips.
Maximum resolutions and frequencies:
- 240 Hz maximum refresh rate
- 2560 x 1600 @ 60Hz max. digital (DVI) resolution
- 2048 x 1536 @ 85Hz max. analog (VGA) resolution
Each card has one 6-pin and one 8-pin supplementary power connector.
