Packages

We proceed to the practical part of our article, where we are going to examine two graphics cards from the new series, one of them having unique memory capacity -- 2 GB. Modern games with rare exception do not consume even 1 GB, but users are always happy to have bigger numbers on the boxes. The more memory a card has, the more attractive it is for a user. It's useless to ask readers not to be after these numbers -- huge memory volume of a graphics card has a magical effect on users' minds.

Anyway, let's see the cards. I just cannot help writing something venomous about meeting a G92-based card AGAIN.

Take a look at the packages.

Zotac GeForce GTS 250 AMP! Edition 1024MB

It's a traditional package in yellow colors from this company with a transparent window on the lid to show the card. Bundled components are arranged into compartments, the card is secured in foamed polyurethane.

Palit GeForce GTS 250 Sonic 2048MB

A traditional box.

Those packages hold not only graphics cards, but also bundled components.

Bundles

A basic bundle should include the following items: User Manual, CD with drivers and utilities, a DVI-to-VGA adapter (except for the Palit card), a DVI-to-HMDI adapter (the Palit card comes with an HDMI-to-DVI adapter), HDMI audio cable, and external power splitters. And now let's see what accessories are bundled with each card.

Zotac GeForce GTS 250 AMP! Edition 1024MB

A full bundle with a game as a bonus.

Palit GeForce GTS 250 Sonic 2048MB

A full basic bundle (however, the card has two power connectors, but it comes with just a single adapter).
