Today we shall focus on the Scythe Mine 2 CPU cooler which, as its name suggests, should be an evolution of the old Scythe Mine. In fact, it's only similar in two aspects: model name and fan position. Other than that it's a completely different cooler from both technical and marketing points of view. So if you remember the original Mine, don't be fooled by the suggested mid-end nature of Mine 2. It's a far more interesting product that deserves close attention.
Scythe Mine 2 is a tower CPU cooler with a 140 x 140 x 25 mm fan. It can also carry two optional fans measured 120 x 120 x 25 mm or 140 x 140 x 25 mm. With a single fan installed the cooler is sized 130 x 143 x 160 mm, and weighs 1145 g.
