This chip is presented by Gigabyte MAYA II RADEON 9500 64MB, AGP card.
Features:
- ATI RADEON 9500 GPU, 275MHz clock rate;
- 64MB DDR SGRAM in 8 Hynix 3.6ns BGA chips; 270 (540) MHz clock speed; 128-bit bus;
- Peak fill rate in the multitexturing mode is 1100 megapixels/sec and 1100 megatexels/sec.
Wasn't overclocked.
By the end of the month the product belongs to the $130-150 range; supports DirectX 9.0; closest rival: GeForce4 Ti4200.
On June 10, 2003 the latest drivers from ATI are 6.360 and 6.368 for Windows XP.
I shall note there's
Radeon2.ru web-site that tracks all software novelties from ATI and offers improved drivers versions with preset registry settings for increasing RADEON cards perfomance.
All the latest drivers belong to the CATALYST series.
