Logitech Announces C930e Business Webcam Apple Updates Processors & Prices of MacBook Pro with Retina Display Shuttle Announces X70S All-in-One Desktop Logitech Announces C930e Business Webcam Logitech today announced the business-class Logitech Webcam C930e, including a 90-degree field of view, support for the H.264 SVC and UVC 1.5 video encoding standards and high-definition digital pan-tilt-zoom. The full HD (1080p) Logitech C930e features the Carl Zeiss-certified glass lens is engineered to avoid the "fish eye" distortion that often detracts from wide-angle images. Optimized for Microsoft Lync, compatible with Cisco, Skype and most unified communications and videoconferencing applications, the Logitech C930e provides a digital pan-tilt-zoom feature that maintains a high-definition image at up to 4X magnification. Logitech C930e offers additional features including autofocus, an external privacy shutter and Logitech RightLight 2 technology, which adjusts the image to improve visual quality in low-light at multiple distances. They got faster and more affordable with updated processors and lower starting prices. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display and 128 GB of flash now starts at $1,499 and $1,699 for a new 2.6GHz processor and 256 GB of flash. The 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display now has a faster 2.4GHz quad-core processor, and fully configured 15-inch notebook comes with a new 2.7GHz quad-core processor and 16 GB of memory. Today Apple also announced that the 13-inch MacBook Air with 256 GB of flash has a new lower price of $1,399. Source: Apple Shuttle Announces X70S All-in-One Desktop Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH expands its range of all-in-one PCs with integrated monitors and adds a 46.7cm (18.5") version to its original 39.5cm (15.6") machines. As well as offering a larger display, the new Shuttle All-in-One Barebone X70S also provides significantly more power. Thanks to the support of Intel Core desktop processors up to TDP=65W also energy-saving technologies are on board. Each of the SO-DIMM slots is optimized for DDR3 RAM up to 8 GB. The chassis of the X70S also has space for a 2.5" drive (SSD/HDD), the Mini-PCIe slot, which can be fitted with an mSATA module. The new model comes with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 2mp web camera, microphone and stereo speakers for communication and media playback. Connectors for external speakers and microphone are also available. A second monitor can be hooked up via the HDMI interface. There are 2 x USB 3.0 and 6 x USB 2.0 ports on the side of the machine. The integrated card reader can read and write to standard SD memory cards.
