Acer Outs a New C7 Chromebook, Priced at a Low $199
Acer America today debuts its new Acer C7 Chromebook, that runs Google’s Chrome operating system and is priced at a low $199.
The premiere offering in the Acer C7 Chromebook line is the Acer C710-2847. The novelty is powered by an Intel Celeron 847 processor (2MB L3 cache, 1.10GHz, DDR3 1333 MHz), a 11.6-inch HD Widescreen CineCrystal LED-backlit LCD (1366x768), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and 2GB of DDR3 memory. It also has a 320GB HDD for storing files.
The Acer C710-2847 can connect via its three USB 2.0 ports and an HDMI port. In addition, its card reader supports SD card and MMC. The novelty is 1 inch thin and 1.4kg heavy, has 3.5 hours battery life.
Acer Chromebook customers are offered up to 100GB of free Google Drive storage for the first two years after purchase, so files, documents, photos and more are stored in the cloud. Customers can also access files offline, or create and edit Google Documents and use Gmail offline as well.

Kingston Unleashed the HyperX Beast DDR3 Memory
Yesterday Kingston released the HyperX Beast, a new line of high-performance DDR3 memory. Ranging from 8GB to 64GB capacity with 8GB, 16GB and 64GB kits, the new modules boast black heatspreaders, lifetime warranty and free technical support.
The new RAM modules are designed to work with third-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors as well as the latest AMD A-Series processors. Also, HyperX Beast is Intel XMP ready so users can achieve the better performance by selecting a speed profile, hand-tuned by Kingston engineers.
