D-Link Launches 4-Bay Cloud Storage Solution 4000 DNS-345
Today, D-Link announced a new product in its ShareCenter lineup of storage solutions: the quad-bay Cloud Storage 4000 (DNS-345) for home and small businesses. The novelty has 1.6 GHz processor, can work with up to four 3.5-inch HDDs up to 16 TB in total storage capacity, and has two Gigabit Ethernet ports. Users can choose from seven RAID configurations tailored to specific hard drive protection preferences, as well as schedule backups and set file and folder permissions.
The Cloud Storage 4000 creates a personal cloud portal, enabling access to content from mobile devices with the help of the free Mydlink cloud application, which also supports two-way data syncing.
The Cloud Storage 4000 also works as a network video recorder (NVR), which supports real-time monitoring, recording from up to four IP cameras and playback of surveillance videos via the D-Link Surveillance Station App.

- DLNA Certified media server to stream music, photos, and videos to compatible media players, including including the Boxee Box by D-Link, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360;
