Scythe Announces Mugen 2 Rev. B Cooler, LGA1156 Conversion Kit
Scythe announced the Rev. B of the Mugen 2 CPU Cooler. The new version (SCMG-2100) comes with improved mounting clips that allow easier and faster mounting as well as offering the compatibility to the newest socket LGA1156. Mugen 2 Rev. B is furthermore compatible to common Intel sockets such as LGA775, LGA1366 as well as AMD sockets 754, 939, AM2(+) and AM3.
Features such as the PWM controlled Slip Stream PWM 120mm fan, Multi Fan Mount Structure and Multiple Airflow Pass-Through Structure remain with the Rev. B. Having undergone certain improvements, the new Flip Mount Super Back-Plate allows secure mounting of Mugen 2 Rev. B on all supported sockets. With the MSRP of &eur;35.90 (excl. VAT) or $49.80 (excl. TAX), the new Rev. B (SCMG-2100) are available now.
Owners of older Mugen 2 coolers (SCMG-2000) can upgrade to Rev. B by purchasing Mugen 2 LGA1156 Conversion Kit. This Conversion Kit comes with the improved Flip Mount Super Back-Plate and the mounting bracket which allows Mugen 2 to be mounted on the newest socket LGA1156, LGA775 and LGA1366. Mugen 2 LGA1156 Conversion Kit (SCCSMG2-1156) is available now for &eur;4.15 (excl. VAT) or $7.95 (excl. TAX).
