Transcend Introduces aXeRam DDR3 Extreme Performance Memory Transcend introduced its aXeRam DDR3 Extreme Performance memory in DDR3-1800 2GB/4GB and DDR3-1600 2GB kits. These modules are designed specifically for hardcore gamers and are made of high-quality DRAM chips and custom high-purity aluminum heatsinks with cooling fins for improved overclocking. All aXeRam modules use eight-layer PCBs that fully comply with JEDEC standards. Transcend's aXeRam DDR3 modules also support new Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) technology, which allows users with high-performance motherboards to automatically configure their memory using aXerRam's built-in profiles, or manually input their own memory timing parameters. ![]() Brief specs:

Featuring new architecture, the Core Series SSD V2 will be available in up to 250GB, delivering speeds of up to 170 MB/s read and 98 MB/s write speeds with an improved seek time of less than 0.2-0.3ms. In company's recent testing, the liquid cooled cards were stably clocked up to 880MHz (13.5% Increase), core clock speed and the GDDR5 memory pushed to 1GHz (11% increase). ![]() Geoff Lyon, CEO of CoolIT Systems said, "We recently benchmarked this card using 3D Mark Vantage and increased the Graphics score from X7125 at stock settings to X8148 which represents a performance increase of well over 10%." VIA Technologies is going to introduce the new Mobile-ITX form factor late this or early next year. A VIA Mobile-ITX board will be twice as smaller as a Pico-ITX one. As you might remember, currently Pico-ITX, sized 100x72mm, is the smallest form factor in VIA's arsenal. Mobile-ITX will support platforms featuring VIA Eden, C-7 and Nano processors. ![]() Besides, VIA demonstrated a few robots at the recent Taipei International Robot Show.
