OCZ Announces PC2-6400 Flex XLC CAS 3 Series
OCZ Technology Group announced the PC2-6400 Flex XLC CL3 series. This latest edition to the OCZ Flex XLC product family is engineered to produce performance gains on the latest NVIDIA nForce SLI platforms by implementing Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP) and allowing the memory to operate at a stable 800MHz at CL3 upon start up. The new memory modules were developed and tested on the 680i platform
The new DDR2-800 CL3 modules feature OCZ’s original Flex XLC (Xtreme Liquid Convention) heatsink which delivers superior heat dissipation via a hybrid copper and aluminum design alterable between passive air or water cooling. The Flex XLC module was engineered with this “flexible” design to give enthusiasts the option to run the modules passively or water cooled via the integrated liquid injection system. The concurrent use of both technologies (water-cooling) promotes improved heat dissipation.
The PC2-6400 Flex XLC CAS 3 modules will be available in 2GB (2x1024MB) dual-channel kits. As part of OCZ’s line-up of premium memory, the PC2-6400 CL3 series is backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

AOpen Unveils New miniPC Duo MP945-VDR
AOpen released its newest miniPC Duo, the MP945-VDR. The MP945-VDR features support for Intel Core 2 Duo processors, dual-channel DDR2 SODIMM memory (up to 4GB) and interfaces like DVI, 1394, six USB 2.0 (two onboard), Wireless 802.11b/g (optional) and more.
The AOpen miniPC Duo MP945-VDR provides low-noise (26db) operation, so it can be used in the living room, in the study, in a dorm room, or anywhere a noisy system is undesirable.
The MP945-VDR has a built-in Infrared receiver and includes a remote control certified for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition (MCE) and the Intel Viiv standard.
The Intel 945GM Express chipset and ICH7M-DH controller provide 4 USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Wireless IEEE 802.11 b/g (optional), Bluetooth module (optional), 5.1 channel sound, S/PDIF digital output, mini PCI slot, DVD±RW and a SATA II 2.5” HDD. Display support includes DVI (D-sub x1)/S-Video/Y-Pb-Pr that not only can connect to LCD displays, but can also drive big screen TVs.
