VASCO and Eutron Launch USB Enabled Digipass 860

VASCO Data Security International, the vendor of user authentication products to the financial sector, today announced Digipass 860, combining Digipass strong authentication and PKI-authentication in one hybrid form factor. The Digipass strong authentication technology has been integrated in a USB platform developed by Eutron Infosecurity.

With Digipass 860, VASCO aims at PKI applications in the corporate C.N.A. market and the banking market. For the corporate C.N.A. sphere, Digipass 860 offers remote access functionalities, as well as LAN login and PKI authentication. Banks will benefit from this newest solution against phishing attacks, the combination of one-time password/PKI.

The integration of the Digipass OTP technology has been done by Eutron. The product will be available during Q2 2006.

Tyan Releases Two Rackmount Enclosures

Tyan released a couple of new enclosures. The first in Tyan's chassis kit line will be the KGT20 and KGT24, both models of which are being used for the popular Transport barebones server product line. Some of the features of both chassis are:

The KGT20 and KGT24 are both currently sampling, and will reach mass availability in late Q1'06.

Sapphire Ships AGP Versions Of X1600 Pro

Sapphire Technology is now shipping AGP versions of its latest series of graphics accelerators. As you already know, the X1600 series supports Shader Model 3.0, Avivo and High Definition video standards.

The Sapphire RADEON X1600Pro AGP has 12 pixel pipelines, 256MB of DDR2 memory, clock speeds of 500MHz (core) and 400MHz (memory).

Retail versions of these new Sapphire graphics accelerators will ship with multimedia software including PowerDVD and Sapphire Select. Each card is also bundled with a DVD containing a selection of games from several software houses. The end customer can play each of the games for a one hour trial before choosing which titles he or she wants to keep and using the activation codes for those titles.

BenQ Introduces New FP93G/FP73G LCD Monitor

BenQ introduced two new LCD monitors – BenQ FP93G and FP73G. Both feature slim bezel design, 6ms response time, ratio of 700:1, a brightness of 300 cd/m2, D-Sub/DVI dual input.

Both BenQ LCD monitors also come with iKey Auto-calibration, VESA standard wall mount and cable management.

The FP93G will be launched in January and the BenQ FP73G will be launched at the end of January/beginning of February.
