Buffalo Unveils 2TB NAS Solution Albatron GeForce 6600 512, 6600LE 512: 512MB Mainstream GlacialTech Launches Igloo 5700 MC CPU Cooler Buffalo Unveils 2TB NAS Solution Buffalo expanded its RAID5-enabled TeraStation series of NAS drives with 0.3TB model TS-0.3TGL/R5 and 2.0TB model TS-2.0TGL/R5. The series now includes 0.3TB, 0.6TB, 1.0TB, 1.6TB and 2.0TB solutions. The 0.3TB model features four 80GB HDDs and the 2.0TB model - four 500GB drives. Novelties are sized 170x235x310mm. Interfaces include 1 x 1000BASE-T/100BASE-TX/10BASE-T, 2 x USB2.0, 1 x 9-pin D-Sub, 4 x SATA2, and AC100V 50/60Hz power connector. UPS units are supported. The list of supported operating systems includes Windows 95/98/Me/NT4.0/2000/XP/2003 Server, Mac OS 8.6 - 9.2.2 and Mac OS X 10.0.4. Speaking of hard drives offered as storage, the company also announced new HD-HQFBS SATA drives: 80GB/160GB/250GB/400GB/500GB priced approx. $145/$165/$200/$400/$560. These 7,200rpm 3.5" novelties feature 8MB buffers, 8.9ms seek time. Hard drives will be shipping in the middle of December. The 0.3TB system will be shipping late in December 2005 for ¥66,780 (approx. $560), while the 2.0TB model will be available late in January 2006 for ¥255,675 (approx. $2,140). Source: Buffalo
Albatron GeForce 6600 512, 6600LE 512: 512MB Mainstream Albatron recently announced two mainstream graphics cards, each with 512MB of DDR2 memory. Both the 6600 512 and 6600LE 512 feature PCI-Express (x16) interface, 350 MHz core and 533 MHz memory clock, and a 128-bit memory bus. These cards have D-Sub and DVI connectors. GlacialTech Launches Igloo 5700 MC CPU Cooler GlacialTech introduced Igloo 5700 MC CPU cooler for Intel LGA775-based systems. Igloo 5700 MC is designed with a fan speed controller. End users can manually control the fan speed to optimize the cooling performance and noise. The fan speed range varies from 1400 rpm (18 dBA) to 3100 rpm (36 dBA). The novelty weighs about 570 grams. It cools down the latest LGA775 CPUs, including Pentium D processor 3.2GHz (130W) and Extreme Edition 3.2GHz (130W). Source: GlacialTech
