As you all know, yesterday at German Games Convention Microsoft published prices for the Xbox 360 gaming console coming this Fall (supposedly late in November). Prices were set to 399,99 US dollars or euro (or 279.99 sterling) for a kit also including 20GB removable storage, wireless controller, headset, remote control, cables for Ethernet and HD-AV and a faceplate. A simpler kit Xbox 360 Core System comprised of the console without a hard drive, wired controller and a TV cable will cost $299.99.

- Component audio cable — $29.99
- 20GB hard drive — $99.99
- 64MB of additional memory — $39.99
- Wireless controller (like the one included into a $400 kit; 10m radius, 30 hours of operation with 2xAA batteries) — $49.99
- Controller battery charger (allowing to play while batteries are charging) $19.99
- A pack of batteries for wireless controller (up to 25 hours of operation) — $11.99
- Wireless network adapter (receives audio/video streams from a Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 based PC) — $99.99
- Headset $19.99
- Universal remote control (for console´s multimedia features, TV set, or a Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 based PC) — $29.99
- Audio/video cable with S-Video (USA) or SCART (Europe) connector (connects to a usual or HD television set) — $29.99
- VGA HD cable (connects to a PC monitor) — $39.99.
GIGABYTE Introduces A Graphics Card On NVIDIA GeForce 7800GTX
GIGABYTE introduced the GV-NX78T256VP-B graphics card based on the NVIDIA GeForce 7800GTX GPU. The latter, according to the company, features a proprietary Turbo Force Edition technology that comprises T3 technology and V-tuner2 overclocking application. T3 technology comprises a series of performance tuners. The GV-NX78X256VP-B also fully supports NVIDIA´s mainstream architecture named "Power of 3", including Shader Model 3.0, HDR (High Dynamic-Range) and SLI technology. The NVIDIA´s GPU, of course, implies support for Microsoft DirectX 9.0c, Intellisample 4.0, PureVideo, etc.
Speaking of interfaces, GV-NX78T256VP-B is equipped with VIVO, HDTV, DVI-I, D-SUB outputs, and comes bundled with a number of applications, including Cyberlink PowerDirector 3.0 ME, PowerDVD 6.0, Joint Operations, and Xpand Rally.
