Teac unveils new DVD±R DL drive
TEAC unveiled new DV-W516E drive capable of burning discs at 8x. The novelty is to go on sale already in July.
DV-W516E utilizes High speed ROPC (Running OPC) technology that monitors process of burning 180 times/sec and dynamically adjusts parameters necessary.
At the same time Mitsubishi announced the availability of 8x DVD+R DL media in Japan, while other countries will see these later this Summer.
