AOpen i945Ga-PLF and i945Pa-PLF: motherboards from dual-core Pentium D
AOpen, already mentioned in today news, also showcased new solutions for dual-core Pentium D processors: i945Ga-PLF and i945Pa-PLF.
i945Ga-PLF bases on Intel 945G integrated chipset, while i945Pa-PLF is meant for discrete graphics. Both boards also utilize ICH7, support 1066/800/533 MHz FSB and 4GB DDR-II 667/533 memory, feature PCI Express, Serial ATA-II and IDE, 7.1ch Intel High Definition Audio, Realtek-based Gigabit Ethernet, 2 x PS/2, 2 x serial, 4 x USB 2.0 and 1 x IEEE1394 interfaces.
Both novelties also support AOpen Power Master energy saving technology claimed to save up to 25% of power depending on CPU load.
Matrox unveils Millennium P650 LP PCIe 64 PCIe graphics card
Matrox unveiled a new low-profile version of Millennium P650 for PCI Express and supported it with 64-bit drivers. Intended for industrial PCs and workstations, the novelty will cost $250.

AOpen introduces i915Ga-HFS motherboard for Pentium M CPUs
Taiwanese AOpen, already known for releasing desktop products for mobile CPUs, introduced an ATX motherboard for Pentium M processors.
AOpen i915Ga-HFS bases on Intel 915G Express integrated chipset, supports Socket 479 Pentium M/Celeron M CPUs, SpeedStep, dual-channel DDR2-533/400 memory and has 1 x PCI Express x16, 1 x PCI Express x1 and 3 x PCI ports.
Other features include UltraATA/100 controller, 4 x Serial ATA, 4 x USB2.0, 2 x IEEE1394, Gigabit Ethernet, DVI, mini-VGA, and S-Video interfaces.
