Sony PSP sales date set

They finally set the sales launch date of Sony Playstation Portable gaming console. To stores in North America it will arrive on March 24 with the following package:

  • 32MB Memory Stick Duo card
  • Headset & remote control
  • Batteries
  • Network adapter
  • Soft case and cleaning rag
  • UMD disc with video, music, game samples

The package of the first million of consoles will also include a special release of Spiderman 2 movie from Sony Pictures Entertainment. The MSRP of the novelty is set to $300.

We are now testing ABIT Fatal1tyAA8XE motherboard on Intel925XE/ICH6R chipset supporting Prescott (LGA775, 800/1066 MHz FSB) processors. The board also offers 4 sockets for up to 4GB of DDR2-533/400 DDR SDRAM non-ECC DIMM memory, Intel Matrix SATA RAID (4 x SATA, RAID 0/1), Gbit and 10/100 Mbit LAN, 3 x IEEE1394 (100/200/400 Mbps), 8ch Intel HD Audio with Dolby Digital Live.

The I/O interfaces are as follows: 1 x PCI Express x16, 2 x PCI Express x1, 2 x PCI, 1 x port for additional soundcard (included), 1 x FDD header, 1 x UDMA 100/66/33 header, 4 x SATA150, 2 x USB headers, 2 x IEEE1394 headers, Back-panel connectors: ABIT Dual OTES, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, 1 x IEEE1394, 4 x USB 2.0, 2 x LAN.
