Olympus Imaging published the availability date (for Japan) and specs of ZUIKO DIGITAL ED7-14mm (14-28mm) F4.0 Olympus E-System lens announced as far back as on September 28, 2004.
Availability in Japan: March 2005

Japanese I-O Data announced its new portable USB 2.0 dongles — ToteBag, capacity ranging from 64 MB to 2 GB.
Besides, the higher capacity, the novelties offer aluminium case sized 16x68.8x6.8 mm at 12 g weight and 10 MB/s read speed.
ToteBag series is expected to cost:
- 64 MB — $25
- 128 MB – $27
- 256 MB – $38
- 512 MB – $72
- 1 GB – $137
- 2 GB – $325

Apple introduces iPod shuffle player
Apple introduced its new flash-memory-based player — iPod shuffle — which has two modifications: 512 MB (M9724LL/A) and 1 GB (M9725LL/A). Like other MP3 players, this one can work as a mere USB dongle as well.
Features include playback of MP3 (8-320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, AAC (8-320 Kbps), Protected AAC (iTunes Music Store, M4A, M4B, M4P), Audible (2, 3, 4) and WAV. The completely charged battery provides up to 12 hours of playback, standby time is about 1 month.
