320 GB Caviar SE from Western Digital to be available for sale next month
According to the official press release, Western Digital launched shipments of its 320 GB Caviar SE hard drives which feature 7200 rpm performance and EIDE or Serial ATA interfaces.
New Caviar SE drives also have 8 MB buffers, produce less noise (SoftSeek and WhisperDrive) and emit less heat. The novelties are expected for sale next month, while preliminary orders ($250) are accepted at company´s website.

BFG Technologies introduced its new GeForce 6800 GT OC PCI-E graphics card. "OC" naturally stands for overclocking (coupled with "Overclocked" line on the bundle).
BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC PCI-E supports PCI Express x16 and SLI interfaces, has 256 MB of GDDR3 memory. Online the novelty is available for $400.

TEAC unveils external HDD and a portable TV tuner
TEAC unveiled a number of new devices, including 3.5" External Hard Disk Drive USB 2.0, USB2.0/Firewire Combo and 2.5" USB 2.0 Slim Portable Hard Disk Drive as well as USB 2.0 TV Tuner/PVR. All of the above are to be showcased at Consumer Electronics Show 2005 in Las Vegas on January 6 to 9.
The external TEAC External Hard Disk Drive USB 2.0 and USB 2.0/Firewire will be available in 40 GB, 80 GB, 120 GB, 160 GB, 200 GB and 250 GB capacities. 2.5" TEAC Slim Portable Hard Disk Drive will have only USB 2.0 interface and 40-80 GB capacities. Orders for 3.5" drives will be accepted this month on at company´s website, while 2.5" devices will go on sale late in January.
As for TEAC USB 2.0 TV Tuner/PVR, it powers over USB, supports S-Video and composite A/V and can record TV and video signals at DVD quality.
