InnoVISION unveils 6800 CoolViva Premium Edition card
InnoVISION unveiled its new 6800 CoolViva Premium Edition AGP card based on NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GPU.
The novelty has a 6cm Cooler Master fan with 19.8 dB noise at 2,500 rpm. This slightly increases clock rates — to 350/800 MHz instead of 325/700 MHz. The card has 128 MB GDDR3 memory.

We are currently testing Palit GeForce 6800 128MB graphics card with 12 pipelines, 325/350 (700) MHz clock rates.
As you can see, it´s just a reference card. That´s why we want to attract your attention to it. Recently there were rather unpleasant news about OEM cards on GeForce 6800 GPU, e.g. from Leadtek, that had not 6800 GPU under cooler, but 8-pipeline 6800LE. Unlike fully-fledged GeForce 6800 cards from the same Leadtek (Retail products), the card had a reference cooler like the one above.
As a result, many users started feeling uneasy about OEM cards with reference cooling (with a mermaid on it). Palit´s card we are talking about today suffers wrongly because it has a reference cooler as well. We believe.
Speaking of our local market, we have a number of OEM products shipped to it. And be it Palit or other similar products, these are fully-fledged GeForce 6800 cards. So, note that the pared-down products have not only the reference cooler, but other markings (e.g. "LR" (Leadtek Research)).
Instead, Palit card has a company sticker on the fan and no "LR" in the upper left corner.
More details about Palit card are soon to come up in our review.
Finally, I´ll state that a new version of RivaTuner that will allow NV40 pipeline management and will provide information about active pipelines amount is expected early in September.
