Elpida releases 512 Mbit Mobile RAM chips
Elpida Memory released 512Mbit Mobile RAM chips designed for low-power and high-density devices. Chips are based on 256 Mbit Mobile RAM components (0.11µm, x16) in MCP packages.
EDL5132CBMA is organized as 4M word x 32-bit x 4 bank, and has 400 MB/s throughput. Chips are packaged into 90-pin FBGA packages sized (9x13mm) that require 1.8V voltage. Chips support Auto Temperature Compensated Self-Refresh (TCSR) technology. Company´s complete Mobile RAM series include:
