Viking samples 2GB DDR2 RDIMM modules
Viking InterWorks, a subsidiary Sanmina-SCI, launched sampling of 2GB DDR2 RDIMM (Registered Dual Inline Memory Module) modules for high-end servers and workstations.

A module features 36 x 512 Mbit FBGA DDR2 chips (on the photo is a 1GB DDR2 with twice as fewer chips). The new module will be produced in PC3200 and PC4200 variants.
Sized 133.35x30x4.0 mm, novelty meets ROHS requirements of lead, etc. amount.

We are currently testing HIS Excalibur X800 PRO IceQ II VIVO Limited Edition graphics cards that has two distinguished features comparing to a usual X800 Pro: 1.6ns memory and VIVO. In other words, it´s X800 XT "reduced" to PRO. Patching it with XT BIOS produced a complete XT card.
