GeIL to introduce DDR 550MHz and DDR2 533MHz memory modules at CeBIT 2004
GeIL today informed that at CeBIT 2004 it´s going to introduce a number of the new memory modules, including DDR2 533MHz DRAM, several Apple Series DIMMs, 1GB PC3200 and PC3500 DDR that will be available in dual-module kits for respective motherboards and also as SO-DIMM.

The Value Series Dual Channel Kit features two DDR 400MHz (PC3200) modules, while the Dual Channel Ultra Platinum Kit (on the photo below) will offer a couple of DDR 550MHz.

GeIL DDR 550MHz (PC4400) are also interesting because they contain SPD (Serial Presence Detector) chips optimized for up-to-date chipsets alongside temperature indicators made of heat-conducting alloy (platinum copper, according to the press release).
