HWZ review: AOpen AK79G Max (NVIDIA nForce2 IGP)

"AOpen is looking to be a very value-based motherboard, just as how MSI is for graphics cards. Like the MSI K7N2G-LISR, the AOpen AK79G Max also targets the same segment of users for it had just as many hardware features as the MSI board did. One Fast Ethernet port, two Firewire ports, six USB 2.0 ports, built-in GeForce4 MX class graphics core with TV-output and six-channel surround sound built on-board with SoundStrorm APU are some of the major highlights."

Gainward GeForce4 PowerPack! Ultra/750-8X XP Golden Sample Review @ Bjorn3D

"I had no problems at all overclocking to Ti4600 clock speeds (300MHz core/650MHz memory), and I´m willing to bet it could go a little higher easily thanks to the 3.3ns Samsung RAM Gainward chose to use. Plus, with Gainward´s ExperTool, overclocking couldn´t be any easier. It´s nice to see a video card company include such a handy utility that is newbie and diehard guru friendly. Since this Golden Sample card is guaranteed to work at the "enhanced mode settings," you have no reason not to clock it at least that high."
