HWZ review: MSI 655 Max (SiS 655) Mainboard "If you are looking for a board with a good set of on-board features, then the MSI 655 Max will not disappoint you. With all the standard high-end features like Serial ATA, Gigabit LAN and FireWire, there´s simply no reason why you shouldn´t consider this board. Packing a lot of devices and options in a relatively small PCB area, MSI once again showed us their strength and expertise in PCB design and layout."Read more at HardwareZone.

Samsung SyncMaster 172w (Wide Screen) TFT LCD @ MonkeyReview "For its price and intended audience, I am confidant that the Samsung 172w will be well received. As I said, if you plan on using your PC for both work and play and don’t mind working in the 16:9 aspect ratio, this monitor looks great, performs well, offers some impressive specs and won´t break the bank. I am happy to see the wall mount is included. I was also quiet pleased to see the DVI capabilities. My only real complaint are the speakers, which in most cases will be bypassed just the same."![]() Read more at MonkeyReview.
Nanya to produce 200 million 256Mbit chips in 2003 Nanya Technology informed that in March 256Mbit chip shipments would make 16 million units, this value reaching about 200 million DRAM chips total in 2003 (46% more vs. 2002).Describing the market situation, company’s CEO said the prices would reach the lowest limit by the end of Q1, while Q2 was expected to bring high sales volumes vs. the previous quarter. This is strange as Q2 is traditionally considered unsuccessful from this point. DRAM makers profitability depends much on chip cost price. Currently a chip costs Nanya $4 against $5 or $6 that other local makers spend. So, perhaps, this low price and growing DDR400 shipments will let Nanya Technology earn more money than in Q1.
